The TIH 15 compact workbench heater is engineered for the controlled heating and mounting of roller bearings onto shafts with an interference fit. Its design prioritizes portability and space efficiency, allowing it to be easily placed on a standard workbench or transported to field and remote service locations.

A U-shaped iron core with underlying inductive coils generates a fluctuating magnetic field.

This field induces currents directly within the bearing or component.

These induced currents are converted into heat, ensuring only the component is heated.
This process guarantees that the bearing heats and expands homogeneously, allowing for effortless, force-free positioning onto the shaft during installation. The unit is also suitable for heating other metallic, ring-shaped components (e.g., couplings) that form a closed circuit.
Operation is simplified via an intuitive keyboard control panel, offering users a choice between Temperature Mode or Time Mode for precise control.
