Description
The Whittet-Higgins MBA series is a metric keybent bearing lockwasher used to secure, lock, and retain bearings and power transmission assemblies on a shaft. An inner key seats in the shaft keyway to prevent the washer from rotating, while one of the outer tabs is bent down into a slot of the mating locknut to positively lock the assembly and resist loosening from vibration, shock, and torque.
Matched with KM, KML, and KMM metric locknuts, it delivers accurate angular positioning across numerous locking positions and installs without special tools on both soft and hardened shafts. Manufactured in carbon steel in the USA, the MBA lockwasher meets and exceeds ISO 2982-2:2013(E) and is RoHS compliant.
