Description
The Whittet-Higgins PWT-02 is a precision bearing lockwasher with precision-ground parallel faces that keep the assembly square to the threaded shaft. A keyed inner bore seats on the shaft keyway to prevent rotation, while an external tang bends into a spanner slot of the mating locknut to positively lock the assembly against loosening from vibration, shock, and torque.
Designed to the ANSI/ABMA 8.2-1999 specification, the PWT-02 pairs with PT series locknuts to secure, lock, and retain bearings and power transmission components. Its small profile delivers a smaller outside diameter and reduced thickness for limited-space, lighter axial-load applications, providing accurate angular positioning across numerous locking positions. Made from carbon steel, manufactured in the USA, and RoHS compliant.
