BHS / BMS Series BEARHUG Locknuts – Stainless Steel

BHS (inch) and BMS (metric) are the stainless steel BEARHUG locknuts. They pair the same prevailing-torque polymer locking ring with a corrosion-resistant stainless body, so bearings stay preloaded in washdown, marine, chemical and food-processing environments where a carbon steel nut would rust into place or shed scale into the assembly.

  • Outside diameter (metric): 18 mm to 155 mm
  • Material & temperature: Stainless steel with a heat-stabilized polymer locking ring; 160°F maximum operating temperature
  • Standards: BHS to ANSI/ABMA 8.2-1999, BMS to ISO 2982-2:2013(E); made in USA, RoHS
