The Nachi 1312 KC3 is a double-row self-aligning ball bearing measuring 60 mm bore by 130 mm outside diameter by 31 mm width, on a 1:12 tapered bore. The taper lets the bearing be mounted with an adapter sleeve on a plain shaft, so it can be positioned anywhere along an unmachined length rather than needing a turned and ground seat, which is why this combination dominates line shafting and conveyor drives. C3 starting clearance allows for the reduction that occurs as the bearing is drawn up the taper. Self-aligning, sheet steel cage, rated -30 to +150 degrees C.
