The Nachi 32226 J is a large single-row tapered roller bearing supplied complete as cone and cup, measuring 130 mm bore, 230 mm outside diameter and 67.75 mm assembly width. Its tapered raceways meet at a common apex, letting the bearing take heavy radial load and heavy one-way axial load at the same time. In service it is mounted against a second tapered roller bearing so the opposed pair locates the shaft in both directions, with the running clearance or preload dialled in during assembly. The cone and cup separate, which makes mounting on large shafts straightforward.
