Description
Axial Deep Groove Ball Bearing, single direction with sheet steel cage
The Nachi 51318 is a large single-direction thrust ball bearing with a 90 mm shaft washer bore, 155 mm housing washer outside diameter and 50 mm assembly height. The ball set runs between two flat washers, which means the bearing takes pure axial load in one direction and no radial load at all, so the shaft must be located radially by a separate bearing. It is the standard answer for screw jacks, turntables, crane hooks and vertical shafts where a substantial one-way thrust has to be carried in a short axial space. The washers separate for mounting. Sheet steel cage, non-angle-adjustable, rated -30 to +150 degrees C.
