Deep Groove Ball Bearing, open design with increased clearance
Nachi's 6026 C3 is a large single-row deep groove ball bearing measuring 130 mm bore by 200 mm outside diameter by 33 mm wide. It carries C3 internal clearance, which is greater than standard and leaves room for the shaft to grow when the inner ring runs hotter than the housing or when an interference fit takes up part of the clearance on assembly. Both sides are open for external lubrication, the balls run in a sheet steel cage, and the bearing is rated from -20 to +150 degrees C. Electric motors, fans, pumps and gearboxes that see a sustained temperature rise are the usual home for a C3 bearing.
