The Nachi 7213 ACYU/GLP4 is a medium-sized precision spindle bearing with a 65 mm bore, 120 mm outside diameter and 23 mm width, made to P4 / ABEC 7 tolerances. Spindle bearings differ from ordinary angular contact bearings in that the ring faces are ground to a controlled offset, so any two bearings from stock can be clamped together in any arrangement and will settle at the intended light preload without shimming or measurement. The 25 degree contact angle balances thrust capacity against speed, and the polyamide cage keeps the ball set light and quiet. Supplied preserved rather than greased, so the machine builder chooses the lubricant. Rated -30 to +100 degrees C.
