Angular Contact Ball Bearing, single row 40 degree contact angle
The Nachi 7314 B is a single-row angular contact ball bearing measuring 70 mm bore by 150 mm outside diameter by 35 mm width, with a 40 degree contact angle. The steep angle gives it the highest axial capacity of the standard angular contact series, at the cost of a lower speed limit than the shallower designs. A single-row bearing takes thrust in one direction only, so it is mounted against a second bearing back to back, face to face or in tandem depending on whether the priority is moment stiffness, tolerance of misalignment or sheer thrust capacity. Sheet steel cage, normal CN clearance, rated -20 to +150 degrees C.
