Description
The Whittet-Higgins KML-21 is a left-handed metric bearing locknut manufactured to meet and exceed ISO 2982-2:2013(E). Its left-hand thread prevents clockwise-rotating assemblies from loosening under vibration, shock, and torque, while delivering accurate angular positioning across numerous locking positions.
Machined from carbon steel and matched with MB series lockwashers, the KML-21 secures, locks, and retains bearings and power transmission assemblies on both soft and hardened shafts. No special tools are required for installation, and it is rated for operation up to 300 degrees F. Part of the most cost-efficient metric bearing locknut line available, manufactured in the USA and RoHS compliant.
