NL Series Bearing Locknuts – Inch, Left-Hand Threads
The NL series is the left-hand-thread version of the standard N inch bearing locknut. On a shaft turning in the direction that would unscrew a right-hand nut, a left-hand thread means shaft rotation tightens rather than loosens the assembly. Dimensions, spanner slots and the matching W series lockwasher are otherwise identical to the right-hand N nut of the same size.
