How to Read a FAG Bearing Number
Every FAG (Schaeffler) bearing part number is built from a prefix (bearing type or special feature), a basic number (dimension series and bore size), and one or more suffixes separated by dots (seals, cage, clearance, and other features). Multiply the last two digits of the basic number by 5 to get the bore diameter in millimeters. Special bore codes: 00 = 10mm, 01 = 12mm, 02 = 15mm, 03 = 17mm.
