The lever clamping range can be adjusted via the thread of the center spindle.
The bolt can be adjusted to flexibly adapt the clamping range.

Best ball joint separator I have ever used, but I still think it could improve. The center is concave so the arm doesn't sway off to the left or right under heavy loads, but still formed a dent in the metal (albeit not as bad as the cheaper alternatives). I believe Kukko has replacement parts for this tool if it gets worn down too much. Biggest downside to this tool is the cost.
