The Nachi 16010 is a medium-sized single-row deep groove ball bearing with a 50 mm bore, 80 mm outside diameter and 10 mm width. The open design leaves both sides free, so the bearing can be lubricated by the surrounding oil bath or grease supply and run at the high speeds this type is known for. A pressed sheet steel cage keeps the ball set evenly spaced under load, and normal CN internal clearance suits ordinary shaft and housing fits with moderate temperature differences. Rated for continuous service from -20 to +150 degrees C, it handles radial loads and moderate axial loads in either direction, which is why the deep groove ball bearing remains the most widely specified bearing in industry.
