Deep Groove Ball Bearing, open design with restricted CM clearance
The Nachi 6001 CM is an open deep groove ball bearing of 12 mm bore, 28 mm outside diameter and 8 mm width, supplied to the CM clearance range. Motor builders specify CM when running clearance has to fall inside a narrower window than CN allows, since it directly controls noise, vibration and the consistency of bearing life across a production run. Both sides are open for the housing's own lubrication, the cage is pressed sheet steel, and the bearing runs from -40 to +120 degrees C.
