Cylindrical Roller Bearing, floating design with normal clearance
The Nachi NU211 is a medium-sized single-row cylindrical roller bearing with a 55 mm bore, 100 mm outside diameter and 21 mm width. Line contact between the rollers and the raceways gives it a radial capacity well beyond a ball bearing of the same envelope. The inner ring carries no flanges, so it lifts away from the roller and cage assembly for separate mounting and lets the shaft expand and contract freely inside the bearing. That makes it the classic non-locating position in a two-bearing shaft. Sheet steel cage, normal CN clearance, rated -30 to +150 degrees C.
