N-000 Series Bearing Locknuts – Large Bore, Small Profile
The N-000 series covers the large-bore end of the inch locknut range — from roughly 4-3/8 in up past 14-7/8 in — in a deliberately reduced axial profile. Where a standard N nut of that bore would not fit the space available, an N-000 nut carries the same thread and the same ANSI/ABMA compliance in a shorter body, locked either by a W-000 small-profile lockwasher or by a PP series lockplate and wire.
