PINS / PINSM Assembly Socket Drive Pins

Drive pins are the wear part of an assembly socket. PINS (inch, for BAS sockets) and PINSM (metric, for BASM sockets) are the OEM replacement sets: hardened tool steel pins that restore a worn or broken socket to original manufacturer specification, so it keeps driving all four spanner slots evenly instead of rounding them off. Each part number services a specific range of socket sizes.

Applications

Rebuilding worn BAS and BASM assembly sockets in bearing shops and maintenance tool cribs — far cheaper than replacing the socket.
