BAS Series Bearing Assembly Sockets – Inch
A BAS assembly socket is the right way to install an inch bearing locknut. It encapsulates the outside diameter of the nut and drives all four spanner slots simultaneously, so load is shared rather than concentrated on a single slot edge, and a standard square drive connects it to a ratchet, torque wrench or pneumatic driver. That combination is what makes bearing preload measurable and repeatable instead of a matter of feel.
