SLAS Series SHOELOK Assembly Sockets

The SLAS socket is the installation tool matched to NSH (inch) and NSHM (metric) SHOELOK self-locking bearing retaining nuts. It encapsulates the outside diameter of the nut and drives its spanner slots through a hardened four-pin system, so torque is shared across all four slots instead of concentrated on one. A standard square drive connects it to a ratchet, torque wrench or pneumatic driver for accurate, repeatable preload.

  • Part numbers: SLAS-02 through SLAS-26 (23 sizes stocked)
  • Material & temperature: Steel construction with hardened four-pin drive; each size corresponds to the matching NSH/NSHM nut size
  • Standards: Made in USA, RoHS and REACH compliant

Installing, preloading, adjusting and removing SHOELOK locknuts in bearing assembly, spindle rebuild and field maintenance work.
