The Nachi 7005 ACYU/GMP4 is a small precision spindle bearing with a 25 mm bore, 47 mm outside diameter and 12 mm width, ground to P4 / ABEC 7 and set for medium preload. Stepping up from light to medium preload buys stiffness and running accuracy at the cost of some speed and a little more heat, which is the right trade for spindles that must hold tolerance under cutting load rather than simply spin fast. The ring faces are universally ground, so bearings assemble to the intended preload without shimming. Supplied preserved, rated -30 to +100 degrees C.
