Description
The SKF TKRS 41 High-Performance Stroboscope is a professional machine-inspection instrument designed for visually examining fast-moving components and measuring rotational speed while equipment remains in operation. Its powerful stroboscopic light makes rotating, reciprocating and vibrating components appear stationary or move in slow motion, allowing maintenance professionals to identify visible damage, irregular movement and production-quality issues without shutting down the machine.
Equipped with 118 ultra-bright LEDs, the SKF TKRS 41 produces up to 8,000 lux of illumination for clear inspections in demanding industrial environments. Its wide flash-rate range of 30 to 300,000 flashes per minute makes it suitable for inspecting everything from slower mechanical drives to extremely high-speed production equipment.
A built-in laser tachometer measures rotational speeds from 30 to 300,000 RPM and automatically synchronizes the flash rate with the measured machine speed. This eliminates time-consuming manual frequency adjustments and helps users quickly obtain a clear, frozen image of the moving component. Adjustable flash duration, phase-shift and slow-motion functions provide additional control when inspecting fans, shafts, couplings, belts, chains, gears, spindles and other moving machine parts.
For advanced inspections, the TKRS 41 includes an external trigger input with signal-modification capabilities such as edge selection, multiplication, division and delay. Frequently used configurations can be stored in five memory locations for faster repeat inspections.
Built with a rugged aluminum housing and protective rubber bumpers, the SKF TKRS 41 industrial stroboscope and laser tachometer is well suited for predictive maintenance, condition monitoring, printing, paper production, textile manufacturing, quality control and test-equipment applications. Its rechargeable lithium-ion battery supports portable use, while the included power adapter allows continuous operation during extended inspections.
