Description
The SKF TKRS 31 Advanced LED and Laser Stroboscope is a compact, high-performance inspection instrument designed for visually examining rotating, reciprocating and vibrating machinery while it remains in operation. By synchronizing its powerful LED flashes with the speed of a moving component, the TKRS 31 creates the appearance of stationary or slow-motion movement, allowing maintenance professionals to identify irregular motion, vibration, misalignment, belt problems, fan damage and other mechanical issues without shutting down the machine.
Equipped with six ultra-bright LEDs, the SKF TKRS 31 delivers more than 5,600 lux of illumination and offers an exceptionally wide flash-rate range of 30 to 300,000 flashes per minute. Its integrated laser tachometer measures rotational speeds from 30 to 300,000 RPM at distances up to 2 meters. The automatic laser synchronization function quickly matches the strobe frequency to the machine speed, reducing setup time and simplifying accurate inspections.
Adjustable flash duration, phase-shift and slow-motion functions provide clear observation of fast-moving components and help users evaluate movement patterns and rotational direction. The TKRS 31 also includes an external trigger connection for synchronization with machinery or sensors, along with a backlit color TFT display, onboard memory and Bluetooth connectivity.
Lightweight, portable and powered by three AA batteries, the SKF TKRS 31 stroboscope and laser tachometer is ideal for predictive maintenance, condition monitoring, speed measurement and troubleshooting of motors, fans, belts, pulleys, gears, shafts, couplings, spindles and other industrial machinery.
