HYAN / HYKM Series Hydraulic Installation Nuts

A hydraulic installation nut replaces hammer, drift and heat when mounting an interference-fit component. Pumping the nut to as much as 8,000 PSI drives an annular piston forward, generating high, precisely controlled axial force to seat a tapered or roller bearing, gear, coupling or sheave — and the same nut backs the component off again on removal. HYAN carries inch bearing threads, HYKM metric.
